FIGHT WITH BRIGANDS

SOLDIER OF BLACK WATCH KILLED CASUALTIES IN PALESTINE JERUSALEM, August 2. . One soldier of the Black Watch was killed and two were wounded in a battle with brigands today near Kafrjellud. The battle developed after shots had been fired at a military convoy. Six brigands were killed. Total casualties all over Palestine for the month of July are 148 Arabs and 60 Jews killed and 256 Arabs and 201 Jews wounded.
