UPPER RANGITUMAU SPECIAL LOAN—I93B. NOTICE OF, SPECIAL ORDER. 'VOTICE is hereby given that at a Meeting of the Wairarapa Electricpower Board held on Thursday the 21st day of July 1938, the following resolution of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz:— “In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 17 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the' Upper Rangitumau special rating area in the Wairarapa Electricpower District hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said special rating area the capital valpes of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said special rating area is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent the Wairarapa Electricpower Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:— For the purpose of extending the Board’s distribution lines a distance of approximately four and one quarter miles along and adjacent to the Kaka Amu Road, the Wairarapa Electricpower Board authorises the raising of a loan of One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£1,250) at Three Pounds Ten Shillings per centum per annum for a period of ten years.” UPPER RANGITUMAU SPECIAL RATING AREA. All that land in the Wellington Land District in the Masterton County bounded by a line commencing at a point situated at the north west corner of Section 44 Block II Kopuaranga Survey District and following in a south: erly direction generally the western boundaries of the said Section 44 and Sections 43, 41, 40 and 39 Block VI Kopuaranga Survey District to Dorset’s Road thence continuing the western boundary of the said section 39 by a right line across Dorset’s Road to the northern boundary of Section 26 Block VI Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following Dorset’s Road in a westerly direction to the most northern corner of Section 91 Block V Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following the north western, western and southern boundaries of the said Section 91 to its south east corner; thence following in a southerly direction the eastern boundaries of Sections 89, 87, 85, Block V and Section 83 Block IX Kopuaranga Survey District to the north east corner of Section 81 Block IX Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following the northern boundary of the said Section 81 to its north west corner; thence following in a southerly direction the western boundaries of the said Section 81 and the western and south western boundaries of Section 79 Block IX Kopuaranga Survey District to the Kaka-Amu Road at the south east corner of the last-named section; thence by a right line across such road to the western boundary of Section 94 Block IX Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following in a southerly direction generally the Kaka-Amu Road and the Kaikouta Road to the south west corner of the block of land included in Deposited Plan No. 8247; thence following first in an easterly direction then in a northerly direction the southern and eastern boundaries of the said block of land to the south east corner of Section 20 Block VI Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following in a northerly direction the eastern boundaries of the said Section 20 and of Sections 28, 30, 32 and 34 Block VI Kopuaranga Survey District to the north east corner of the said Section 34; thence following the northern boundary of the said Section 34 to the Kaka-Amu Road; thence by a right line across such road; thence following in a northerly direction generally the Kaka-Amu Road to the south east corner of the portion of Section 44 included in Certificate of Title Volume 181 Folio 83; thence' following in a north westerly and westerly direction the eastern and northern boundaries of the part of Section 44 referred to above to the starting point at the north west corner of the said Section 44 Block II Kopuaranga Survey District. AND notice is hereby given that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board to be held on Thursday the 18th day of August 1938, at the Board’s Office, Memorial Square, Carterton, at 10.30 a.m. DATED this 27th day of July, 1938.
