WOMEN'S AUXILIARY ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary of the Masterton Methodist Church was held in the Methodist Parsonage, when the Rev F. Parker presided. There were also present visitors from the Eketahuna Methodist Missionary Auxiliary.
The secretaries of the Masterton and Eketahuna auxiliaries read their annual reports and balance sheets and were accorded a vote of thanks for the same.
The resignations of Mrs C. Beale, who has been box organiser for 12 years, and Mrs A. Thomas, treasurer for 14 years, were received with regret.
The election of officers resulted as follows:- —President, Mrs F. Parker; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Cocker, F. G. Rutter and Miss M. Burton; leaders, Mesdames L. Jansen, H. Speight, and Miss V. Jackson; secretary and press reporter, Miss E. Beale; corresponding secretary, Mrs L. Jansen; box organisers, Mesdames C. D. Shoosmith, E. J. Martin and Miss V. Jackson; organists, Mesdames Hansen and Speight; stamp secretary, Mrs G. Blane; room convenor, Mrs Andrew. A vote of thanks was passed to the Press, hostesses and speakers of the past year.
Mrs H. Speight was appointed a delegate to the Dominion Conference to be held at Feilding in October.
