THE REGENT
“EVER SINCE EVE.” Marion Davies, who is invariably at her best in light, whimsical comedy, will appear in “Ever Since Eve,” at the Regent Theatre finally tonight. “THEY WON’T FORGET.” The sensational movie, /‘They Won’t Forget,” will be shown tomorrow night at the Regent Theatre. “They Won’t Forget” is the film version of “Death In the Deep South,” a novel by Ward Greene that is second in current interest overseas only to “Gone With the Wind,” and is far more controversial. There has been endless debate ever since “They Won’t Forget” was previewed, and it will probably continue, according to all indications. It is said to be a real thriller. Mervyn Leßoy directed as well as produced this photoplay, from a screen version adapted by Aben Kandel and Robert Rossen.
