VOLUNTEER WATCHMEN AND CONSTABLES ARAB TALK OF “PRIVATE ARMY” (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) JERUSALEM, August 1. Jews have formed a body of 400 volunteer watchmen for lonely colonies. There is already a body of 800 Jewish constables, and 300 supernumeraries, which the Arabs describe as a private army.
