LIMITS TO CONCESSION
DECLARATION BY CZECH MINISTER TERRITORIAL AUTONOMY IMPOSSIBLE. MAY BE FORCED TO FIGHT. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) ; PRAGUE, August 1. ; Outspoken Ministerial speeches at the weekend preceded today’s discussion between members of the Cabinet and members of the Coalition on the draft of the Sudeten settlement. M. M. A. Tueny, Minister of Telegraphs, said:—“We cannot yield territorial autonomy. We must protect our sovereignty. If forced to fight, j; we know we shall not be alone. Cui- , tural States and farseeing statesmen , have been compelled to draw the sword in defence of democracy and civilisation.” GERMAN INJURED. QUARREL WITH SOLDIERS. PRAGUE, July 31. It is officially reported that a Sudeten German was seriously injured in a quarrel with two Czech soldiers at Trautenau, near the German frontier.
