MR HENRY FORD
4 SEVENTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY. GERMAN HONOUR PRESENTED. DETROIT, July 20. Mr Henry Ford celebrated his seventy-fifth birthday today and 8000 children gave him a party. In a statement he said: “The trouble with all of us is that we think the future is tomorrow. If it does not come tomorrow we are not interested in it. It is that kind of ‘here today gone tomorrow’ stuff that causes most of our difficulties. Things worth while are not grabbed from the air." The representative of Herr Hitler presented Mr Ford with the Grand Cross of the German Eagle in recognition of his industrial achievements.
