THE LUTINE’S GOLD
ONE BAR BROUGHT UP TREASURE CHAMBER NOT YET LOCATED (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) TERSCHELLING. July 29. The dredger Karimata today brought up' the first gold from the wreck of the old British frigate, Lutine—a gold bar weighing 120 ounces. As no further gold has been drawn up. it is assumed that this is a solitary displacement from former searches. The Karimata has yet to locate the treasure chamber aft.
