NATIONAL ANTHEM
TH.E SOUTH AFRICAN CONTROVERSY] RESOLUTION SUBMITTED BY DR. MALAN. CAPE TOWN, July 26. Dr Malan submitted a resolution in the Assembly demanding that a single purely South African anthem be the officially recognised anthem. He said that despite the violence of suppression, South Africa had obtained the right to decide its own destiny. It had its own flag and would have its own exclusive anthem.
