LABOURER SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ This Day. In the Supreme Court yesterday Thomas John Lucinsky, labourer, aged
1 30 years, found guilty of the theft of a safe and contents valued at £446, was sentenced to imprisonment for a year. “The jury has taken a very merciful view of your case,” said his Honour, imposing sentence. “You took part in a serious, wicked and stupid crime. You
have a criminal record and have been declared an habitual criminal, released on licence last December.”
