Illustrating the speed of modern aerial transport and its importance in business and professional life, a fast flight of 18 minutes from Hamilton to Auckland was made the other day by the Beechcraft aeroplane owned by the Auckland Aero Club. Piloted by one of the club’s instructors, Mr K. B. Robinson, the machine was used by two doctors to return to Auckland after visiting Hamilton for a consultation. Professor Jagan Nath's remarks about Rugby football caused a lot of amusement at St Andrew s College and also a good-humoured protest by the head prefect (R. Smith), who thanked him for an address he had given the pupils. Professor Jagan Nath failed to give way, and he is liable for was still at the primitive level. Some might like it, but others might not, and he thought that those who wanted to play other games at school should be given some encouragement. "One of our players, who watched a Rugby game the other day, remarked that it looked as if a lot of cows had been let loose on the field.” he said.
