FEATHERSTON

A PARCEL EVENING. (“Times-Age” Special). A parcel evening for Miss B. O’Neale and Mr F. Fuge was held in the Kaiwaiwai Hall when a pleasant time was spent in euchre and dancing. Mr R. Fuge in a few well chosen words, called upon Miss O’Neale and Mr Fuge to open the parcels. After this had been done Mr Fuge suitably replied. The winners of the euchre tournament were Mrs Hall and Mr H. Fenwick. A tasty supper brought a happy function to a close. PERSONAL. Mr J. Donald has returned from a visit to Christchurch. RETURNED SOLDIERS’ BALL. The South Wairarapa Pipe Band is to be an added attraction for the Returned Soldiers’ Ball which is to be held this week.
