In an editorial today, “The Times,’’ says that nothing better illustrates the wide gulf between Nazi outlook and British and other opinion than the honouring of the Dollfuss murderers. Dollfuss died in a spirit of Christian charity, forgiving his murderers. “Is it too much to hope that the conquerors will show the same spirit? Schuschnigg is languishing untried in solitary confinement because, like Dollfuss, he did what he saw to be his duty.”
