FUNERAL HONOURS

BURIAL OF THE LATE QUEEN MARIE (Recd This Day, 10.20 a.m.) BUCHAREST, July 24. After a service at the Cotroceni Palace, the coffin of Queen Marie was placed on a gun carriage, which was followed by King Carol, Prince Michael, Prince Nicholas and others. The streets were lined by thousands. The body was taken to the cathedral where a service was conducted by the Pariarch of the Orthodox Church. Then the coffin was borne to the Royal mausoleum at Curtea di Arges and laid beside that of her husband, the late King Ferdinand.
