MARTINBOROUGH
Mrs Jack Martin, Wellington, is visiting Mrs George Pain. Mr and Mrs Ken McLeod have returned from their honeymoon. Mrs McLean is the guest of her daughter, Mrs H. L. Griffiths. Mrs Hugh Haycock has her niece, Miss Joyce Haycock, as her guest. Sister Kent, of Tiri Hospital, has as her guest her sister, Miss Kent, of Pongaroa. Mrs Lewin, Masterton, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs Jack Harris, of Dyerville. Mr and Mrs D. O’Keefe and family, Dyerville, returned yesterday from a holiday spent at Timaru with Mr O’Keefe’s people. Mr N. Lundon and Mr G. Biss are weekend visitors to Wanganui. Mrs G. Biss and her small son Tony will return home during the weekend after spending a month’s holiday at Paraparaumu and Wanganui. Mr H. L. Griffiths will return to Martinborough next week after a trip to Australia. He will spend a day or so in Auckland with Mr Horace Griffiths (formerly a resident of this town) on his way home.
