GREYTOWN

BALFOUR MEMORIAL SHIELD. (“Times-Age” Special.) Next Saturday the first round of the Balfour Memorial Shield will be played, and on Sunday the second round will take place. These two rounds will also count for the Challenge Cup. The Balfour Shield should provide an interesting competition and will determine the premier stroke player of the club. There are at least eight players between whom there is little to choose. ’ J. C. Feast is playing great golf at the present time, but H. E. Webster, H. R. Feast, B. Kiernan and T. R. Ingley have also put in good cards. The draw for this competition will be published tomorrow.
