FOOTBALL
WELLINGTON v. WAIRARAPA. The public witnessed a first-class exhibition of Rugby football on Saturday last between Wairarapa and the formidable Hawke’s Bay team. Tomorrow’s match at Memorial Park between Wellington and Wairarapa should prove an exciting and interesting one. Individually the Wairarapa backs are good, and last Saturday’s game should give them the necessary combination to fully extend their opponents. The forwards should again play high class football.
