JEWISH FIELD WORKERS ATTACKED RAIDERS DRIVEN OFF BY POLICE (Recd This Day, 12.15 p.m). JERUSALEM, July 18. A rebel gang fired on Jewish field workers in Beisan Valley. They were driven off by police reinforcements, after a gun battle in which one policeman and one rebel were killed, and three Jews and ten rebels: wounded.
