MORE TALK IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. ' MOTION- BY OPPOSITION LEADER. (Recd This Day,. 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, July 18. In the House of Commons the Speaker, in. giving his ruling regarding the question raised by Lieutenant-Colonel L. A. Heneage, on July 14, disclosed that the new information was that members of the military court were not aware that Mr D. Sandys had been; summoned to give evidence and thereby were not responsible for a breach of privilege. The speaker suggested that the matter be dropped, as the committee’s report, which did not reflect on anyone, had not affected Mr Neville Chamberlain. Sir Archibald Sinclair (Liberal Leader) agreed that no further action be taken, but the Leader of the Opposition, Mr C. R. Attlee, tabled a motion referring the report back to the committee, on the grounds that the House on July 11 had been misled into censuring innocent persons.
