BLAZE AT OIL REFINERY IN U.S.A. THREE SPECTATORS KILLED. DESTRUCTION 'OF BIG PLANT IN PROSPECT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, 9.50 a.m.) WELLSVILLE (New York), July 18.. A fire at the twelve million dollars Sinclair Oil Company refinery killed three spectators and injured fifty others, when a blazing oil tank was hurled toward a crowd. Ten huge storage tanks were destroyed. A spectacular blaze continues. Flames, shooting 200 feet high, destroyed part of the fire-fighting equipment. It is feared that the entire plant may be destroyed.
