Ottawa, Canada —The ever-increasing popularity of radio in Canada is indicated by the number of receiving licences issued by the Canadian Government. In the fiscal year ended March last, 1,103,795 licences were issued as compared with 1,038,500 in the preceding fiscal year. In addition to these, 3,155 licences were issued free of charge to blind persons, as compared with 2758 in the previous year.
