KING’S VISIT TO PARIS
PHOTOGRAPHS AND NEWSREELS BY PLANE. DESPATCH TO AMERICA. (Recd This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, July 15. Carrying half a ton of freight consisting of newsreels, photographs and newspapers dealing with the visit of the King and Queen to Paris, the pickaback plane Mercury will fly to Montreal and New York from Foynes on July 20. DOLLS FOR PRINCESSES. AN EXTENSIVE TROUSSEAU. (Recd This Day, 12.25 p.m.) PARIS, July 15. Forty-two dresses and eight fur coats are included in the trousseau of two beautiful dolls named Frahce and Marianne which will be presented to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose in connection with the Royal visit. The dolls are also equipped with hats, gloves, shoes, handbags, handkerchiefs, umbrellas, fans and perfumes. Each doll has its own touring car, cradle and perambulator.
