MONSTER MOVIE BALL
One of the many novelties to be introduced at the Movie Ball in Carterton on Monday next will be a Hollywood Premiere entrance. Just as the film stars speak through the microphone as they enter the theatre on such gala occasions, so will the stars of the Ball speak in Carterton as they arrive at the ballroom. Headliners on the variety side of this hilarious evening’s entertainment will be specialty acts by New Zealand’s Fred Astire and Ginger Rogers, Ralph and Valerie Wilkin, who have been specially engaged for the occasion.
