GREYTOWN
BALFOUR MEMORIAL SHIELD. (“Times-Age” Special). In order to perpetuate the memory of the late Mr Alan Balfour the Greytown Golf Club members have subscribed to a Shield. The conditiofis are the best gross score over 72 holes. This competition will precede the championship. The following is the draw for the ladies in the Bogey Handicap:—Mrs Horner v Miss Nix, Mrs Thompson v Mrs Maddison, Miss E. Gregor v Mrs Balfour, Miss B. Haigh v Miss M. Collier, Miss B. Gregor v Mrs Jury, Miss I. Collier v Miss B. Feast, Miss B. Kiernan v Miss M. Eccles, Miss J. Feast v Miss M. Wood, Miss M. Nix v Miss B. Jury, Miss M. Webster v Another. PERSONAL. Messrs J. Kiernan and J. W. Tate have been appointed delegates from the Greytown Golf Club to the proposed South Wairarapa Golf Assoviation. Mr A. R. A. Daysh has resigned his position as manager of the Greytown Dairy Factory.
