Davies, not out, 78). Northants, first innings, 100 (Clay 7 for 49). Following on Northants lost 7 wickets for 79 (Clay 6 for 28). Glamorgan won on the first innings. Kent, first innings, 135 (Watts, 4 for 45, Berry, 4 for 48), second innings, 100 (Parker 5 for 23). Surrey, first innings 190 (Watt 6 for 80), second innings, 1 for 46. Surrey won by nine wickets. Leicester, first innings, 191, second innings 169 (Pollard 5 for 57). Lancashire, first innings, 8 for 365, declared (Iddon 88). Lancashire won by an innings and five runs.
