COMPETITION REPORTED ACTIVE. * (Recd This Day, 12.30 p.m.) . LONDON, July 13. At the wool sales, 9.015 bales were offered, including 4,720 bales of New Zealand wool, and 7,675 were sold. There was a good selection and competition was again active, although scoured Merinos were frequently withdrawn. A good clearance was effected at full rates. Quotations: New Zealand greasy crossbred, Kereone, 8:;d to 9£d; slipe, halfbred lambs, Three Star, 11 id to 13d.
