SELF-CHARGED KIDNAPPER AND MURDERER CONFESSION DISCREDITED BY POLICE (Recd This Day, 12.40 p.m.) TACOMA (Washington!, July 13. The police stated that Olson, (who confessed, as reported in an earlier cablegram, to kidnapping and murdering the child, Charles Matson) is obviously deranged. Hence the issuance of a warrant is not justified.
