OATH TO HITLER

TAKEN BY NAZIS IN U.S.A. NEW YORK, July 12. An important case arising from the alleged activities of Nazi organisations in the United States was heard in Court when six officers of the socalled German American Settlement League, a body having thousands of members, were convicted of violating the State Civil Rights law. Each was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment, which, with an exception, the President has suspended. Each was also fined one hundred dollars. The league was fined ten thousand dollars. The evidence showed that members took an oath of allegiance to Hitler.
