LONDON SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co, Ltd, report the following cabled advice just to hand from their London house: —The sales opened with a large attendance. There was animated competition and a fair selection. The Home trade were 1 the principal operators. As compared with the closing rates of last series greasy Merino and scoured Merino is unchanged, except short and faulty Merino which are in favour of buyers; fine greasy Xbred is unchanged; medium and coarse greasy Xbred par to 5 per cent lower, fine scoured Xbred unchanged, medium and coarse scoured Xbred and slipes par to 5 per cent lower.
