PREPARATIONS FOR MATCH ON SATURDAY. STRONG BACK LINE AGAINST NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, July 12. The All Blacks will play their strongest back line against New South Wales on Saturday. The team, which was announced after training today on a dry ground, will be: Taylor; Phillips, Mitchell, Morrison; Sullivan, Berghan; Saxton; Williams, Milliken, Parkhill, McKenzie, King, Dalton, Quaid, George. Keith Windon today withdrew from the New South Wales team owing to a broken bone in his right hand. R. Kelly will replace him. The selectors this afternoon replaced Hills with Smith and O’Brien with McLaughlin. Hills had been chosen to replace Quinlivan. TEAM PRACTICE. « (Recd This Day, 11.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. After the All Blacks have placed a wreath on the Cenotaph this morning, the players selected for Saturday’s match will practise as a team at the Cricket Ground. Bowman has been chosen as reserve forward and Wesney as reserve back. Tindill is recovering from his chill. The New Zealanders will have a decided advantage in weight against the New South Wales players, who are on an average a year younger than the All Blacks.
