OBITUARY

MR STUART LEE SMITH. The death occurred at an early hour this morning at Gladstone of Mr Stuart Lee Smith, a well-known resident of that district. The late Mr Smith, who was a son of the late Mr and Mrs Moses Smith, of Gladstone, was 55 years of age, and had been an invalid for the past twenty years. Mr Hector Smith, of Masterton, is a brother and Mrs Gunderson, of Featherston, a sister. The funeral will take place in Masterton tomorrow, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Services at 2.30 p.m. for . the Masterton Cemetery. MR P. COSTOLOE. The death occurred in Masterton yesterday of Mr Patrick Costoloe, who had resided in Masterton for several years. He was a single man, 52 years of age, and was born at Ashburton. The late Mr Costoloe was a returned soldier. The funeral will take place in Masterton tomorrow morning.
