TABLE TENNIS
ATTRACTION IN MASTERTON TONIGHT. VISITING HUNGARIAN PLAYERS. Table tennis enthusiasts are promised a real treat this evening when two world famous players, Messrs Viktor Barna and Tazlo Beliak will be seen in action at the Masterton Municipal Hall. The visitors, who will be welcomed by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, will be matched against leading New Zealand players. The Wairarapa selector has chosen the following local players to meet the visitors: J. Nicholls, R. Clark, H. Myers and N. Myers. As arrangements have been made to heat the hall, patrons may be assured of their comfort while watching the games. Singles and doubles matches will be played. The proceedings will start at 7.45 p.m.
