WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

MEETING AT ALFREDTON. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance of members at the usual meeting of the Alfredton Women’s Institute, when Mrs Hull presided. A roll call of household hints was taken and many useful hints were ven.A competition for the best patch sewn on at the meeting resulted: Mrs Clee 1, Mrs Hull 2, Mrs J. Hartley 3. The competition for the best bloom resulted: .Mrs Weston .1, Mrs Didsbury 2, Mrs Seymour 3. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs Didsbury, Mrs E. McLean and Mrs J. Hartley. The meeting concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
