KING RESTING
BUT CONDITION SHOWING IMPROVEMENT LONDON, July 11. Lord Dawson of Penn and Sir John Weir saw the King, after which they officially stated that his condition was improved, but that it would be necessary for him to rest for a few days. It is expected that the decision regarding tomorrow’s presentation party at Buckingham Palace and other engagements this week will be announceed today. The Queen has arrived at Buckingham Palace from Windsor. PRESENTATION PARTY. QUEEN TO BE PRESENT. (Recd This Day, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, July 11. It is officially stated that a Buckingham Palace presentation party will take place tomorrow, when the Queen will be present alone. It is understood that the Queen originally did not intend to attend the party, owing to the Countess of Strathmore’s death, but her Majesty has now decided to be present, in order not to disappoint the guests.
