MASTERTON CLUB EVENTS. THREE TEAMS LEVEL IN PAIRS SECTION. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club played further games in the pairs section last week. L. Roff and Jansen, who were previously unbeaten, lost both their games, causing three pairs to be even with seven wins. The following are last week’s results: —Leigh 18 beat Fenton 11; Kennard 13 beat Ferguson 9; Hendry 18 beat Vincent 16; Dixon 13 beat Ferguson 9; Finlayson 17 beat Lewis 14; Edwards 17 beat Davis 14; Thompson 21 beat L. Roff 16; Finlayson 19 beat Reeves 7; Joyce 14 beat L. Roff 12; Kennard 17 beat C. Roff 12; Fenton 12 beat Pickering 10; Dixon 13 beat Vincent 7.
The games arranged for this week are as follow: —Tuesday: 7 p.m., No. 1, Dixon v. Kennard; No. 2, Pickering v. Vincent; 8 p.m., No. 1, Edwards v. Ferguson; No. 2, Leigh v. Lewis; 9 p.m., No. 1, Reeves v. Davies; No. 2, Finlayson v. Thompson. Thursday: 7 p.m., No. 1, L. Roff v. Hendry; No. 2, Joyce v. Finlayson; 8 p.m., No. 1, C. Roff v. Vincent; No. 2, Fenton v. Kennard; 9 p.m., No. 1, Leigh v. Edwards; No. 2, Ferguson v. Lewis. The committee requests that players take particular notice of the games allotted to them.
