TABLE TENNIS
MASTERTON v. MAURICEVILLE.
On Saturday at the Y.M.C.A. members of the Masterton Winter Sports Club and the Mauriceville West Table Tennis clubs met in the first round of the. Wairarapa Table Tennis Association’s inter-club competition. In the B section the Masterton club team won 13 games and Mauriceville West 7, while in the C. and E. sections Mauriceville West scored wins by 13 games to 7 and 17 games to 3 respectively. Mr J. Haywood welcomed the visitors on behalf of the Masterton club, and Mr D. Neilsen, Mauriceville, suitably -replied.
Next Saturday night the Masterton club intends holding a series of ranking matches.
