Mrs T. Harty, of Titahi Bay, is visiting her mother, Mrs J. B. Moody, Glentui.

Mrs F. R. Littler, of Rongokokako, has returned after an extended trip to Samoa.

Mrs M. Greathead has returned to Greytown after a holiday spent in Auckland.

Mrs H. Drummond, Gisborne, has been staying with Mrs Archer Hosking, Church Street, Masterton. Mrs G. W. Sellar, who has been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, has returned to Masterton. Mrs A. Crawford, Hastings, is staying with her aunt, Mrs Chamberlain, Renall Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs J. Laing, Wainui-oru, have returned from a visit to Auckland.

Mrs C. T. Richardson, The Terrace, Lansdowne, has gone to Feilding to stay with her daughter, Mrs R. Hardy. Mrs W. Chamberlain, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs D. McGregor, Pownall Street, has returned to Gisborne.

Miss Margaret Roys, of the Christchurch Hospital, and formerly of Masterton, was successful in passing the recent State examination for nurses.

Mrs A. C. Gawith, Longbush, will visit Wellington next week to attend the conference of the branches of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union.

Misses Molly and Nancy Rhodes, of Greytown, have taken up their residence in Marton, where they are attached to the staff of the Marton Girls’ College. At the monthly meeting of the Sol-way-Manaia Women’s Institute, Miss Blatchford, in view of her approaching marriage, was presented with a silver sandwich tray, and wishes were extended to her for prosperity and happiness in her future life.
