*Late sale Thursday. GOLD MINING RETURNS Th Mossy Creek gold dredge return is 40oz 15dwt from 8540 cubic yards worked in 129 hours. Blackwater Mines, Ltd., reports the following return for June: —Crushed 3560 tons, yielding 1649 fine ounces of gold from all sources, the value of which, taking gold at 140 s 6d per fine ounce, was £11,583. Working expenses were £7075, leaving a working profit of £4508. Development expenditure was £743 and capital expenditure £3713.
