SHOW DATES
CLASH BETWEEN WAIRARAPA AND ROYAL The clashing in dates of the Royal Show at Hamilton and the Wairarapa Show at Carterton will be further discussed at a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society next Saturday. The Royal Agricultural Society Executive confirmed the dates at a meeting held this week. Referring to the matter this morning, Mr L. H. Smart, secretary of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society said that as far as he could see there was no way out of it. He considered the attitude taken up most unfair. He knew that quite a lot of Wairarapa stock would be going to the Royal Show. The Royal Show dates are October 27, 28 and 29., and the Wairarapa dates October 26 and 27.
