MARTINBOROUGH
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the usual meeting of the Women’s Institute a good attendance, of members was presided over by Mrs J. Lamb. Two new members were elected. A competition for Tomato Sauce which is to be sent to the Buchanan Home, Greytown, resulted as follows: Mrs S. Davidson 1, Mrs Cuthbert 2. Mr Tate, of Greytown, gave a very interesting and instructive address on travel in Australia, which was illustrated by pictures and the exhibition of kangaroo rugs and opals. A hearty vote of thanks to the speaker concluded a very enjoyable meeting.
