LAUNCHING OF STEAMER
f BROADCAST FROM 2YA. The launching of the Shaw Savill and Albion Co., Ltd’s, new vessel, “Dominion Monarch,” will be broadcast from 2YA on Thursday, July 28 from 5.30 to 5.50 p.m. New Zealand time through the Empire station. The broadcast will give a .description of the ship, short speeches will be made by the High Commissioners of New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, and Lady Essendon, wife of the chairman of the Company, will launch the vessel.
