Y.M.C.A. AFFAIRS

MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The chairman, Mr W. A. Clarke, presided over a large attendance at the monthly meeting of directors of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. on Wednesday night. A letter of congratulation on the building extensions was received from ‘Q the president of the Wellington Association. The directors complimented the staff on the way in which they had carried on while the alterations were under way. Gratitude was expressed for additional donations to the building and furnishing funds. Appreciation was expressed of the photograph of the late Mr H. M. Peacock, which had been presented to the association, through the Rotary Club by Mrs Peacock. The monthly financial statement showed a debit of £l4. The secretary’s report for the month indicated that all activities had been well maintained.
