BRITISH COAL TRADE
DISCUSSION WITH FRENCH REPRESENTATIVES FRANK EXCHANGE OF VIEWS SUGGESTIONS TO BE STUDIED (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) RUGBY, July 5. It was revealed in the House of Commons that discussions between the Mines Department of the Board of Trade, assisted by, representatives of the coal interests concerned, on the one side, and interested French Government departments and coal interests on the other, took place in, Paris on June 27, 28 and 29, when there was a full examination of the problem of the United Kingdom’s coal trade and frank exchange of views. The discussions were adjourned to enable the Governments to study the suggestions put forward, and will be resumed shortly.
