WAIRARAPA COLLEGE
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. ■ A proposal to purchase a new motor lorry for the conveyance of agricultural pupils and implements to and from Penrose Training Farm and Wairarapa College was discussed at a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa College Parents’ Association on Monday evening. Mr A. Owen Jones | presided. It was decided to raise funds for a new lorry and to devote the proceeds of the recent ball to that purpose. It was reported that several donations had been promised. Mr Jones congratulated the president of the association, Mr F. Daniell, on securing the highest number of votes at the recent poll of parents for the election of three representatives on the Board of Governors.
