RIFLE' SHOOTING
ALFREDTON CLUB. H. LEACH WINS TROPHY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Alfredton Club fired twice over the 300 yards range on Saturday for a trophy donated by Mr T. H. Groves. The conditions were not favourable to high scoring, there being a dull light with rain at times. Rifleman H. Leach proved the winner of the trophy. The scores were as follow: —

Flynn (Martinborough); G. Te Whaiti (Greytown). Emergencies: H. K. Smith, L. G. Rasmussen, J. Bain, N. F. Teal, L. Renall. The match will be fired at Wellington. The selectors were Messrs C. J. De Lacey and W. Johnston.
