« DEATH OF NEW ZEALANDERS IN SURREY. LONDON, July 3. At the conclusion of the inquest on the New Zealander Colin Byar, one of two New Zealanders who were injured in an air crash in Surrey, a verdict of death by misadventure was entered. An expert of. the Air Ministry disclosed that Byar was participating in searchlight exercises on an exceptionally cold night at a height of 6000 feet He gave the opinion that when Byar suddenly descended the change of temperature stopped the engines.
