REMARKS OF MR W. P. ENDEAN CHALLENGED. RESOLUTION AT COMBINED MEETING. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) TIMARU, This Day. At a large combined meeting of railwaymen, the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That ,this combined meeting of railwaymen, representing all divisions, resents the uncalled for remarks of Mr W. This is contrary to fact, as tho standard of discipline has not been relaxed in the service and the standard of efficiency of the staff was never higher.”
