ALLEGED THEFTS
TWELVE NAZIS ARRESTED IN AUSTRIA. DEALINGS WITH CONFISCATED BUSINESSES. VIENNA, July 2. The newspapers announce that the 12 Nazi commissioners whom Herr Buerckel, Nazi Party Leader in Austria, placed in charge of Jewish businesses, have been arrested on charges of embezzlement. Following the arrests, Herr Buerckel has ordered a thorough examination of the whole system of confiscation of Jewish property.
