CARTERTON BEAT MASTERTON MATCH AT TARATAHI In an inter-club match played at the Taratahi links on Saturday, Carterton beat Masterton by six games to four, two being halved. Following are the results (Carterton players mentioned first in every case): — Singles: Booth lost to Henderson; Dudley beat Boys; Goodwin beat Coom; George beat Falloon; Fisher beat Percy; Lawrence beat McKenzie; Goodin beat Divers; Taylor and Father Moore, all square. Fourballs: Dr Wells and J. Steel lost to Hodgens and Miller, 2 and 1; Roydhouse and Hart lost to Hornabrook and Tood, 3 and 1; Witburn and Taverner lost to Donald and Thompson, 4 and 2; Reynolds and Clark and Stratton and Stewart, all square.
MASTERTON CLUB BOGEY COMPETITION RESULTS A bogey competition was played by members of the Masterton Golf x Club at tlje Lansdowne links on Saturday. The best cards were:— ,A grade: J. Donald, 6 up; R. Falloon, 5 up; F. B. Tatham, 2 up; H. L. Esau, 1 up; W. A. Todd, all square. B grade: E. L. Nitz, all square; H. L. Nitz, 2 down; S. A. Mannering, F. M. Cunningham and G. R. Booth, 3 down. MAHUNGA CLUB LADIES’ TROPHY. The following were the best net' scores returned for the second qualifying round of the ladies’ trophy played on Saturday last: —R. J. Smith 62, R. L.
