CARTERTON BEAT MASTERTON MATCH AT TARATAHI In an inter-club match played at the Taratahi links on Saturday, Carterton beat Masterton by six games to four, two being halved. Following are the results (Carterton players mentioned first in every case): — Singles: Booth lost to Henderson; Dudley beat Boys; Goodwin beat Coom; George beat Falloon; Fisher beat Percy; Lawrence beat McKenzie; Goodin beat Divers; Taylor and Father Moore, all square. Fourballs: Dr Wells and J. Steel lost to Hodgens and Miller, 2 and 1; Roydhouse and Hart lost to Hornabrook and Tood, 3 and 1; Witburn and Taverner lost to Donald and Thompson, 4 and 2; Reynolds and Clark and Stratton and Stewart, all square.
