* GREAT DANGER TO EUROPE. “It is undoubtedly a great danger to the world that there should be nations in Europe which are strong militarily, but Aveak morally,” said Viscount Samuel, speaking in the House of Lords. “Because of that we have to protect ourselves by great armaments. None the less, we ought not to abandon a course of prudent, restrained, and just policy, endeavouring to remove one by one causes, so far as we can, that may give legitimate grounds for complaint.”
